@justinehud As I am most often diving with several female crew. There are extra challenges due to the Drysuit and all the thermal layers. My preference is a tall bucket. Some still prefer the over the side. I am seeing more folks using a device. Or even a device and a bucket in rough sees.

@AnneinBamfield @jellywatch Perhaps from Corolla calceola. They respond to disturbance by flapping their 'wings' then glide down. Are you finding hard -slightly gelatanous clear things on the beach, that fit over your thumb? They may be the protective psuedoconch from these gorgeous creatures.

We’ve all seen Tides ebb & flow on shorelines. But Earth’s tidal bulge is fixed in space relative to the Moon.

Earth’s rotation is what drags us into and out of that bulge, leaving us with the daily illusion that Tide waters moves at all.
