Penn Wood is a 3 form entry school. 89% of children have English as an additional language & 37% receive Pupil Premium.

91% of the children reached the expected level in writing in the SATs using TfW.

Tremendous to watch teaching across @PennWoodSchool and see upfront teaching without a PowerPoint in sight. Tremendous work in year six with every child using their magpie books to make notes and gather ideas. A genuine community of writers.

As Heathrow Explorers, they came up with design ideas for a transport solution that will make travel throughout the airport even more sustainable.  It was an enjoyable way for Year 6 to explore roles at the airport while developing the core Heathrow World of Work skills.

Year 6 had a fantastic workshop with 'Learning to Work' - one of Heathrow’s Education Business Partners. Children worked in teams to create their design, utilising 3D software and honing their presentation skills as they competed to design the most innovative transport solution.

@kevdavo @DeputyGrocott Yes. Most schools have calculation policies you can look at as a guide with examples. We also provide opportunities to come in and watch teachers teach their child’s class. We run parent workshops/information evenings to help guide parents on how best to support their children.
