The emdash isn’t even the biggest AI tell. Not even close. It’s this peculiar structure:
This isn’t just <x mundane phrasing >. It’s <y more hyperbolic phrasing>.
This misconception isn’t just an attack on the emdash. It’s an assault on our right to punctuate freely.
You've seen these paintings a million times.
But never like this.
Using nano-banana, Seedance, and Kling, I brought them into our modern world, creating an unlikely romance in Central Park, New York City.
Enjoy:
was so important culturally that the venetian government regulated mask wearing and only full venetian citizens could wear specific mask styles
also a legal requirement to wear one to for voting ceremonies to preserve anonymity
If humans die out, octopuses already have the chops to build the next civilization, scientist claims.

Have gotten comments from gen z questioning the point of the American greeting ritual. I used to feel the same way in my first service jobs. I thought it was "fake," performative, extractive, "emotional labor" (though we didn't have that phrase). Here's how I changed my mind
You guys probably don't realize how many young men I talk to every month who send me messages like this.
At least 50 DM's like this in the last year. Often, they're depressed or suicidal, living at mom's place -- truly lost.
Many take my advice, and it seems to work for them.
One kid was on the brink, gonna off himself, sexually abused for his whole childhood, caught a drug charge, did some time, and was basically in "hikikomori mode."
I had him call me and told him to buy a Greyhound bus ticket TONIGHT more than 2,000mi away. Told him what to pack, how much money to bring, where to sleep, how to hitchhike, etc. Told him it'd be better than dying and he agreed.
He did it, deleted all his socials, went off the grid for like 3 months. Finally emailed me from a town in Alaska. He'd bussed to Boise, hitchhiked the Al-Can highway, and found himself a job in the fishing industry. Had $5k saved and was in the process of buying a 1.5ac plot in WV sight unseen. Was dating a native gal and intoned he might marry her.
No idea where he's at now, but I think it's quite likely he's not dead. I consider that a massive W. And I believe I can say similar things about a handful of some of the other lads I've talked to on here in similar circumstances.
Gives me hope after losing more than a dozen friends to suicide and drugs.
A couple friends of mine think this could wind up being vocational for me. After a life of suicidal ideations and a handful of failed attempts at taking my own life, I genuinely feel well-equipped to talk despondent young men through their despair and get them to get their asses in gear.
I have the nagging feeling that there's going to be something very obvious about AI once it crosses a certain threshold that I could foresee now if I tried harder. Not that it's going to enslave us. I already worry about that. I mean something subtler.
If something feels off about your entire life, it could be that you or ppl around you are unconsciously applying the wrong genre. I used to live inside a conspiracy thriller. But it turned out that magical realism was much more accurate
Hey everyone! Come February this account will be a year old (kinda crazy to think about) and recently I've been thinking of breaking off from just the deer gimmick.
Don't worry, I'll still be posting deer like usual!
But if I change things up for the new year there will also be a lot of retweets and posts of art/video games/etc (basically anything else I like. And I'll definitely be going full furry too :3.
So. Y'all's thoughts?
Sad to hear my uni course mate Felix has passed, my condolences 😔
Stress in AI is hard and getting very complex, there is nothing wrong with admitting it and looking to get all the help you can.
Things are only likely to get faster and more stressful, remember to take care 🌺
