@hannahp_au We can prepare our students by giving them different kinds/styles of assessments. This way they can get acquainted to the different kinds of practices teachers will use throughout their years of education.
@andiehringer1 Teachers need to practice having an open mind & put the preconceived notions of others out of their heads. It does not matter what race/religion/ethnicity, etc. they are but who they are as a student and what they bring to the classroom.

If you have ever had a panic attack, what do you do to cope with the feeling of being overwhelmed/stressed? #auctee3100book21
@ReillyDavis13 There are so many root causes of child sex trafficking. The ones I believe are the most prevalent are poverty, lack of education/enforcement, and noneffective government policies.
@MaryGraceMills4 One way to ensure that the dress code is equal for all body types is to dress more conservatively. Make sure the length requirements are fair and enforced along with the fit of clothing as in how tight or cropped something is.
"I agree that it's right and proper to do the best you can in a race, but this desire to beat everyone else is another matter" https://t.co/SSBZmz07uc
Do you find yourself competing/racing because you have the desire to win or just for friendly competition?

@jadynowensau I think it depends on the area one lives in. Where I am from, it is almost too dangerous for me to attend public schools because of the crime rate. I believe private schools can offer a great education as can public schools if they are in a good system.
@EmilyAmos21 Lately, I haven’t been rewarded for something I already do, but I agree that having a reward/being told to do something you already do naturally can decrease motivation to do it again. When my mom tells me to clean my room & I was already planning on it makes me not want to do it
“Every human being with/without disabilities needs to strive to do their best, and by striving for happiness you will arrive at happiness” What do you do to strive for happiness in your life? #auctee3100book21 https://t.co/dsvwTuND9u
@sydneybee_3 I agree with the quote that it is so important to be able to express ourselves! We can challenge ourselves to be more receptive by putting the preconceived notions about people out of our heads and making up our opinions on our own.
@SarahReier Ways we can show them validation is by waiting for them to collect their thoughts/give their response. People often assume they don’t know or have an answer because they can’t answer right away, but we need to let them know they can take their time when expressing themselves!
“For a person with autism, being touched by someone else means that the toucher is exercising control over the person’s body.”

What can you do to make sure physical touch is okay when you’re interacting with a person with autism?
