If you are an alcoholic, plan to avoid alcohol and alcohol events for 3 months.
All those so-called friends will disappear.
Or get broke, or jailed, or sick,
You won't see them.
That should be a wake-up call to stop drinking.
Alcohol is bad. No friends. Just pests.
Kusupport mpira ya kenya ni expensive sana i understand where FootballKE fans bitterness comes from but it's their choice. Kwanza travelling for away games, inaeza kucost about 5k for tickets, fare, merchandise, chakula and some even book bnbs plus other miscellaneous.
Then Kenyan based European football fans kitu wamespend tu ni 40 bob kuona EPL, kwa izo halls, wengine huonea illegal streams ama aende anunue beer ya mia tatu kwa club alafu unatrash talk mpira ya Kenya everytime umeona chaos but you never talk about the good side, not a registered member na hauna ata Kit ya Harambee Stars.
Not all matches results to chaos and we always condemn football hooliganism every time we see it.
We sing and dance, take good pics, interact and create KE football content. Matches are also broadcasted on Azam Tv for those who can't show up but izi zote hamuezi one mnangoja siku kuna ugly scenes. Na hawa watu hutuaribia mpira ya kenya those are paid goons and some are even given jerseys. No genuine Kenyan football fan breaches the pitch to cause violence.
All that said, kila mtu aone mpira inamfurahisha. Pili pili usiyoila inakuwashia nini jameni?

So Teya has tell you the positives but you can pick the negatives by yourself? 😆
Anyway, the fact that there are 18 clubs, players and managers earning from the league, Sportpesa/Betika/Mozzart/KCB/Tusker/KDF/Police/AP/Posta/KPA/Azam/Nairobi City County injecting money to the league to create employment is already something huge. These companies could have chosen something else but they decided to invest in this product.
Match attendance improved significantly last season btw (you can get stats from Sportpesa) and Nairobi United were in the group stages of a CAF Competition.
Somewhere along the way you will learn to separate women from children. You will learn that you can love a child without liking the mother . You can be walking around the neighborhood and see a child struggling with school fees. Some parental instinct will be triggered and you will not silence it . You will raise that child and celebrate their success as you would your own . Life is funny that way.
Yes, they poured dubious money into football, but also built affordable homes, constructed schools, improved sewage & street lighting in run down areas, there were food & medicine banks - and even Xmas presents given to local kids. Why then do people shit on the Medellin Cartel?
Did anyone just post or write about me? Gained hundreds of followers in a few minutes (asante sana!) - just so unusual. Please tell me.
Or maybe the algorithm?
And I don’t want publicity just justice for my case - and for Kenyans 🫶
This week in 📍Nairobi, Kenya #ScalingWeek2026 begins!
Convened by the CGIAR Scaling for Impact program and @ILRI.org, Scaling Week brings together 400 scaling champions across food, land and water systems to work on real-world scaling questions and challenges.
Bildad Mwaganu Kaggia was born in 1921 and died in 2005. From 1963 to the day he died, Kaggia remained one of Kenya’s most dignified, principled, ideologically committed as a socialist and perhaps the only person from the Mount Kenya region who steadfastly refused to be compromise his principles and ideological commitment for short-term opportunistic gains. But you won’t find Kaggia’s name mentioned by our hopelessly compromised media, hypocritical politicians and pseudo intellectuals. However, for progressives all over the world, Kaggia’s legacy is cemented in gold, diamond and platinum. Viva! #SocialismIsTheSolution
Kenya premier league suspended yet again!
Anyother frivolous court order!
I doubt if there is any other country in the world where a judge can suspend a football season indefinetly without a care of the cost of their actions.
@CJMarthaKoome this is impunity & abuse of judicial authority to serve narrow personal interest at the expense of public good.
Shameful!
During H.E Uhuru's time sensitive and lucrative government legal briefs used to go to the best Kikuyu lawyer in town assisted by few other Kenyans..sometimes including myself. Government used to pay top fees and no one used to ask for a bribe or kickbacks. Work was done, fees is paid and all went well. Nowadays, tribe or competence are irrelevant. CSs or Parastatal heads give work to lawyers who are willing to give back 70 to 80% of legal fees as bribe. Lawyers retain only 20% of their fees. Nobody gives a hoot about the case. The higher it goes on appeal, the more fees is paid and the standard 70 to 80% is given back to the CS and Parastatals heads. That is why case after case involving government is tossed out daily. It isnt because judges are necessarily anti government. It is because government has lost character and every government officials is stealing in every possible manner as if the world will end tomorrow.
A Kenyan mama fua may charge around KES 1,000 or more to wash your clothes. A Burundian or Ugandan will sometimes take as little as KES 400. The same is happening in construction, where Burundian labourers may accept as little as KES 300 a day.
You do not see this because you are sitting comfortably in a corporate job, far removed from the people actually competing for these livelihoods. This is real. It is happening on the ground. Burundians are replacing locals in some of these jobs because KES 400 or 500 goes much further back home.
That is the reality the smug middle class keeps dismissing because they are not the ones feeling it.
Also, the fact that your posh existence exempts you from the direct consequences of illegal immigrants' exploits in Kenya, does not make the raised grievances - like wage suppression any less compelling.
If the Kenyan retailer can validly protest Chinese wholesalers' rabid incursion, then the construction worker can also lament wage suppression as a result of ILLEGAL immigrants oversupply of labor.
Their concerns are valid. They should not be so haughtily dismissed on account of their position in the economic ladder. Being poor is not a crime.
This is exactly the Kenyan problem: we are easily distracted by stupid sideshows. Laikipia County, approximately 2.35 million acres, is controlled by whites. Half of Laikipia County is owned by assimilated whites who control 52% of the land, held by only by 36 ranching and conservationist families. The biggest rancher, Kuki Gullman, controlling Ol Ari Nyiro Ranch by hook or by crook and periodically kills local herders own 100,000-acres ranch which is bigger than half of Nairobi, which has 17 constituencies. She claims to have bought the land from a group of European absentee landlords, and Kenyans are here fighting fellow African hawkers who own just a wheelbarrow and bucket carrying Mandazi instead of fighting neo colonists.
