As a social experiment, I called both my mom and my dad separately today.
My mom:
1. Complained about my dad
2. Complained about her weight gain and other health issues
3. Waxed lyrical about my brother and his soon-to-be wife, they're having a wedding later this month
My dad:
1. Talked about my American road trips with me and asked me what states I've visited and which my favorites were
2. Asked me about the differences in culture, weather, food, and people between America and Europe (he has been to neither)
3. Asked me about my life in Spain, where I live and what I do on a daily basis
Basically my mom used me as a sounding board for all her yapping.
My dad was legitimately interested in my life, my experiences, and my views on things.
Female nature literally applies even to my own mother.
What a shame.
Imagine a state whose music resonates globally, boasting Grammy-winning talent and blessed with a coastline, waterways, natural resources, and the potential to become a major international trade hub.
Now, envision that state grappling with the challenge of transforming these advantages into prosperity for its people.
This is the very contradiction we must confront in Rivers State.
In response to longstanding infrastructure and operational challenges, the Federal Government has identified Port Harcourt International Airport as a target for concession.
Our assets have the potential to deliver significantly more value through efficient operations, modern infrastructure, and strengthened connections to global markets.
However, the question remains: what is the value of our international potential if our people cannot fully benefit from it?
To truly understand the importance of global accessibility and make informed investment decisions, we need leaders who comprehend the significance of these factors.
An airport is more than just a runway; it’s a gateway to investment, tourism, exports, jobs, economic opportunities, and the global economy.
Rivers State once held a prominent position in Nigeria’s commercial and industrial landscape. We cannot afford a future where our strategic advantages remain underutilized while our people struggle for opportunities.
Our issue is not a lack of potential; it’s the failure to consistently translate that potential into economic value for our people.
I am determined to change that. I am committed to building a Rivers State that functions effectively, connects globally, and competes on the international stage. A state where infrastructure serves the economy, government facilitates enterprise, and prosperity reaches every citizen.
Rivers State possesses the potential, and our people possess the talent. What we need is leadership that exposes this talent to the global market by ensuring the system works efficiently.
This is one of the many reasons why we must RESET RIVERS STATE.
Let us never forget that Rivers State belongs to the people.
Happy new week, Rivers people! May this week open doors, connect you to new opportunities, and move you closer to the prosperity our state was made for.
Step into the week with purpose, and enjoy the read.

Men,
The logic of making money is simple.
Avoid women, act poor, and strike opportunities ruthlessly.
Master these three rules, and you could be the next wealthiest person.

Zelensky calls for support to carry on war with Russia.
A few days later, Trump makes an oil deal with Russia.
Zelensky condemns deal.
Trump: It’s time for Ukraine to get a new president.
Classic American use-and-dump. 🤣
Germany was ruined because Germany listened to women too much.
I am a German woman, I live here.
I often hear Germany used to be so great, strong and beauitful?
Today I do not see this anymore.
The men have become weak and subservient to women The women have become masculine and lead our country into disaster.
You see children criticize their parents, blaming them for "choosing" a future for them especially when they become unsuccessful but keep shut if it goes well, especially children from struggling homes. They tied their "obedience" to money. Internet brats.
This take is only from kids of poor parents. Children of politicians or elites don't reason this way. One feel their decision would have made them successful if their poor parent allow them had their way, but same keep will keep quiet if there decision boomerang.
To be honest with you, all what you said is load of RUBBISH.
1. Disappointing your parents as if they want what is bad for u, how do u reason.
2. African parenting being looked down on by an African with no self worth and trust in his identity.
3. Money shld determine obidience.
I stood with my fellow Kalabari kinsmen to endorse Sim Fubara for a second term, believing he was doing well. Circumstances have changed.
I am not running to become Governor. I am running to rescue Rivers State.
The question is simple: Will you stand with the bully, or join me in rescuing a bleeding Rivers State?

"I went with my fellow kalabari kinsmen to endorse Sim Fubara for a second term, because he's doing well. Now that the circumstance is like this, I'm running to rescue Rivers State from the bully.
Will you side with the bully to rescue Rivers State or join me to rescue Rivers State which is bl££ding, from the hands if the bully, Wike?"
It's not about being Governor, it's about the rescue of Rivers State.
~Dumo Lulu-Briggs, to Wike.
Respect! Things I love to see.
Dumo had a meeting with me and he said look young man I'm not going to Court I won't take a dime from you I'll withdrew my case other's who withdrew their case i paid them money.
- Gov. Sim Fubara
The one time Kalabari has only one candidate, none of their top politicians wants to support him. Next election 2 million Kalabari people will then contest election and then start complaining that Kalabari has not produced a governor.
