@tankots@WisprFlow 9. And the last one is battery life. I don’t know if other experienced it too, but Wispr flo alone made the battery life on my otherwise brilliantly performing iPhone 17 feel mediocre. I could barely get through half a day
@tankots@WisprFlow Hey @tankots, I tip my hat for all the effort you and the team have put in to create wispr flo. I have used the product for the hype, but am before the end of the first day (twice) I ended switching to native STT for a couple of reasons.
@tankots@WisprFlow Using Wispr Flow instead of the built-in on-device speech-to-text feels a bit like buying a Toyota Fortuner and then adding aftermarket rims. It might add a sense of coolness, but it doesn’t really add utility and makes the ride worse while you ride it around town.
@tankots@WisprFlow 8. A big one is that now I prompt AI to do most of what I need (eg email about xyz, WhatsApp this ), which means less typing and so I (and everybody) needs just a consistent and seamless UX and not a bolt-on
@tankots@WisprFlow 6. An imp one is even while using Wispr I still considerable amount of time with Siri /Gemini.
7. UX breaks while trying to use wispr either AirPods. Inadvertently have to use on device (which feels like a saviour )
@tankots@WisprFlow 4. Enough seems to have been said about the annoying UX friction on ios (and Android has its issues too) 5. I found it jarring to not be able to see the text flow in realtime (which native STT does )
@tankots@WisprFlow 1. Native STT feels seamless 2. Native STT has gotten way better in the last couple of months and I see that in the upcoming android and ios releases it could match / better wispr flo 3. Wispr’s paywall seems unconvincing for a feature that’s table stakes at the OS level

After months of building, launching Memorable feeling like the biggest accomplishment this year.
Really proud of the work the team has put in to get here. The feedback and the response.
We have had some incredible users using Memorable on their Apple Watches even before our official launch, in ways we couldn't even imagine -from attending a parent-teacher meeting, taking notes during a doctor's appointment, people in customer facing role for generating notes for in-person meetings, one user who used Memorable for planning his wedding and so many more.
If you haven't tried Memorable, give it a shot. It's free to download and for a limited time we are giving away 2 months of free download.
My team and I would love to hear what use cases you can imagine with Memorable on your Apple Watch.

And they’re asking ground crew for help because they have two versions of Microsoft Outlook open and neither is working
This scene is now canon 😭
@BasilTheGreat This is a misunderstanding
European nations still own massive chunks of Africa-the resource rich, valuable parts and that’s not really up for debate. He’s saying that should go back to African people. It’s got nothing to do with immigration or telling anyone to leave the UK.
@VaibhavSisinty@AkshayNarisetti@VaibhavSisinty tried Memorable yet - An AI powered second brain. No additional wearable required, just your Apple Watch. Going hands free feels like magic ✨
