We talk about 80% lower costs vs. Redis, but how exactly? Don’t take our word for it and see how real customers slashed their infra bills with Dragonfly Cloud. #FinOps#CloudComputing#Redis#Valkey#Database

In our new blog post, let's dive into the robust failover mechanisms, multi-zone replica configurations, and performance-first architecture that keep your cloud-based in-memory data stores running with #ZeroDowntime. 🚀 https://t.co/lEdfFDfiqQ #DragonflyCloud#HighAvailability
We just released Dragonfly v1.21 with SSD tiering! 🤯 Still alpha, but the results are 🔥. https://t.co/gEGwSNyHav
We compared it to Memcached’s ExtStore and Elasticache Tiered on an r6gd.xlarge instance with 150M, 600-byte strings. ->
I spent last week exploring the internals of DragonflyDB (@dragonflydbio) - a drop-in replacement of Redis, and it does a staggering 6.43 million ops/second on a single machine 🤯
DragonflyDB is a multi-threaded implementation of Redis with a bunch of insane optimizations. Some of the architectural design decisions and internals of data structure implementation just blew my mind.
To understand it better, I went through their blogs, docs, and even some fragments of source code. I compiled all my learnings in a series of videos and trust me you will absolutely love going through it.
the videos will change how you look at data structures :) subscribe to my channel, and the video drops every Friday evening.

ps: Until then watch other System Design and Database Internals videos on my channel; they are all no-fluff.

Thank you for all the great conversations and engagement yesterday at #KCDHyderabad! We hope you had the chance to meet @tarrooon and @abhra303. We truly enjoyed connecting with everyone and discussing Dragonfly. We can’t wait to see the community again soon! #cncfhyderabad #cloudnative #kubernetes #devops @kcdhyderabad
It’s an honor to be named in @Redpoint InfraRed 100 next to such innovative cloud infrastructure companies! Huge thank you to RedPoint and @Nasdaq for highlighting all the great work & congrats to all of the companies that are included!https://t.co/pHS3T27ppb

We lost a titan of programming languages, programming methodology, software engineering and hardware design. Niklaus Wirth passed away on the first of January. We mourn a pioneer, colleague, mentor and friend.
Join Dragonfly CTO @romanger for our first Dragonfly Community Office Hours on 8/23! Roman will cover recent releases to the Dragonfly project, upcoming roadmap, and take questions from the community. Don't miss out! 🔗https://t.co/z8dnkid40J
Tech leaders often doubt vertical scaling's potential, favoring boundless horizontal scaling. Join us to debunk some common myths around horizontal scaling and explore why vertical scaling is often the smarter strategy.

@striver_79 I wouldn't say this is bad. They are the reason why good brains get into OSS (whom OSS needs badly). Most probably they are only the reason that you are following the OSS :)
@striver_79 They are a handful of people (compared to the vast community). Some people are more interested in building fancy communities than contributing to the core OSS. Note that this doesn't mean that they are not knowledgeable. They focus mainly on how to use them (Kubernetes, Grafana).
