Because Free Speech is allowed; My thoughts are my own, others may have opinions I agree with. It's nice to have a space to display them. Thank-you Elon Musk!
@KarluskaP Just out for an afternoon stroll and the ICE man jumped out at you, took away your friend... How sad โ and now youโre asking people to join in your misfortune.
@PNWConservative You would think someone of that age would know better. The internet never forgets, and his future in a responsible job will be limited to that of a woke, dysfunctional Democratic pundit.
This is a commonly employed tactic that many companies use. Now you want to pounce on this one specific company and drive it away just as high taxes are already doing to others. It seems like Washington State is trying to tear the heart out of the state and drive all the companies that matter out. Is this one step closer to forcing communism as the only workable option once the good companies have left?
Transparency in Washington State government is lacking, and it seems that the main forms of local media will not report on the lack thereof. Independent media outlets the ones that dig deep into the roots of problems are being blocked from participating in Olympia. Gov. Ferguson requires state agencies to obtain approval before speaking to the media, as reported by Fox 13 in Seattle. There is also a lack of robust auditing of how tax dollars are being distributed, with few dedicated allocations that appear arbitrary, fluid, and subject to daily changes. Additionally, when you account for laws being passed and signed by the current administration using the emergency clause to thwart any opposition. Washington State if corrupt and broken.
The Washington State Spiral
When you tax the rich so heavily that they move to friendlier states, the public has to make up the difference. When companies leave, the jobs leave with them, shrinking the tax base and once again, the public has to make up the difference. When so many people flee the state, home prices fall due to lack of buyers. That leads to lower assessed values, which means even less revenue from property taxes and again, the public has to make up the difference. If the Trump administration cuts federal funding for state programs over sanctuary policies and refusal to share voter rolls, that shortfall will also land squarely on Washingtonโs already overburdened taxpayers. Do you see the downward spiral? It accelerates so quickly your head will spin. You canโt tax your way out of it.
When you depart the Senate and return to life as a regular citizen, youโll finally realize all that you did and didnโt do while you were supposed to represent the people of Washington State, not the Democratic Party. Your largest contribution in the end was simply being an obstructionist in your final days. We will celebrate the day you leave, as Washington State regains some control over what shapes our future here, by our regained influence in D.C.
@GovBobFerguson I would have backed your play if you had dedicated the funding in the bill instead of leaving it open-ended. Everything always seems to flow into the general fund which you then treat like a personal piggy bank when itโs not earmarked.
@KamalaHarris Thank-you for all you did in the four years you had your position of backup president. If you could would you list them for the public to see... I'll wait...
@SteveLovesAmmo This cut-away barrel is so big that the bullet and caseing are traveling out the front, even though the primer has not been dimpled by the fireing pin and that is ammazing.
@WheelerRipWA@Ilhan@naomirwolf@D4Commish@grok Under the gun because of scrutiny of the Somali Day Care fraud debacles. Try and get ahead of it with a feel good story of a viable legitimate charity that in not pilfering the government coffers. Nice!
@GovBobFerguson Washington you just got run roughshod over. thank-you Govenor and legislators.
Hoist with his own petard.
Find a solution to your madness because it's affecting the whole State. Dummkopf
@letsgowa Just wondering about the emergency clause that is attached to this bill that will become the law of the land come 2028 (tax funds calculated for the 2027 year). This is exactly what a "King" would do.
@jasonrantz It won't change anything in Washington State. That stack of ballots over there the Republican ones still needs to be verified. That stack in the bin the Democrat ballots needs to be counted again and again.
@future42org Tell me again what Dow Constantine is making as a salary being the CEO and head of Sound Transit. Something like $450,000. a year not too shabby.
Tell me again: How many lawyers are in the Washington State Attorney Generalโs Office, and at what cost to taxpayers?Theyโre busy keeping the state โwrinkle-freeโ and out of trouble using lawfare to punish anyone who opposes them, including the Trump administration while state auditing of programs and spending apparently goes largely unchecked.
@WheelerRipWA Bring back the Sonics More Millionaire high salary players for that not an income tax, Millionaire Tax. I can see where your priorities lie go Governor.
