🚨 In 2004, Marine Sgt. Tyler Ziegel was serving in Iraq when a roadside bomb nearly killed him.

Burned over 70% of his body, he lost parts of his face, fingers, and vision in one eye. He endured over 50 surgeries and years of brutal rehab just to survive.

In 2006, Tyler married his high school sweetheart Renee. Their wedding photo went viral. It became a raw, powerful symbol of love and resilience that the world couldn’t look away from. ❤️💪
But the real war didn’t end when he came home.

PTSD, chronic pain, and the heavy burden of being everyone’s “inspiration” took their toll. His marriage ended. On March 29, 2012, at just 30 years old, Tyler died from an accidental overdose of pain medication.💊

His story is a heartbreaking reminder. The battlefield scars are visible. The invisible ones can be fatal.
