So let me get this straight. NBC and ABC will happily report:
The vaccine is safe and effective
Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation
Joe Biden was at the top of his game
Kamala Harris was nominated in a democratic process
BLM riots were mostly peaceful…
But they refuse to carry the President of the United State’s primetime speech about whether or not evidence exists of foreign election interference?
If you’re one of the few who still watch these two legacy outlets, please stop. They hate you.
How to correctly praise children to foster growth mindset:
"Praise for intelligence can undermine children's motivation and performance."
"The kids that got the intelligence based feedback tended to select problems that they knew they could perform well on."
"Kids that are rewarded for effort continue to pick harder problems and outperform the kids given intelligence praise by a large margin."
"Giving intelligence praise reduces performance, and giving effort praise improves performance."
"Rewarding yourself based on identity labels can actually undermine performance, and in fact, it does undermine performance."

There are about 18,000 species of wasps in North America. Roughly 20 of them can hurt you.
The wasps people fear are all from one family: Vespidae. They make up less than 1% of wasp species on the continent. They build the visible nests, they defend them aggressively, and they're the ones you remember from a bad encounter.
The other 99% live solitary lives and ignore humans entirely. Many can't sting at all. Many more have stingers but never use them on people because they don't have a nest to defend.
What they do instead is hunt other insects. A single mud dauber stocks her nest with paralyzed spiders, including widows and recluses. A braconid wasp lays eggs in tomato hornworms. An ichneumon wasp parasitizes wood-boring beetles that kill ash trees. A cuckoo wasp infiltrates the nests of other wasps and bees. Some species control aphids; others control caterpillars, beetle grubs, or flies.
Most agricultural pest insects in North America are controlled, in part, by parasitic wasps that almost no human ever sees. There are over 25,000 species of ichneumon wasps alone, and they keep entire orders of insects in check.
The five or so wasp species that ruin a picnic in late August are real. The 17,995 species that are running the pest control infrastructure of an entire continent get almost none.
New Kraft Mac & Cheese contains extremely toxic ingredients
Kraft Mac & Cheese has been losing big time to competition, they’ve lost roughly 45% of their market share in the macaroni and cheese market
Their response is to launch this new “Restaurant Edition” line
- Monterey Jack Caramelized Onion (cavatappi pasta)
- Parmesan Pesto (gemelli pasta)
- Romano Cacio e Pepe (pipette pasta)
Don’t be fooled, they still contain toxic ingredients
- Sodium Triphosphate (or Sodium Tripolyphosphate / STPP) and Sodium Phosphate: These are emulsifiers and texture enhancers. Used in industrial cleaners and detergents
- Maltodextrin: A carbohydrate filler/sweetener from starch. Can spike blood sugar more than table sugar for some people and is ultra-processed
- Cellulose Gum / Cellulose Gel, Acacia Gum: Thickeners and stabilizers. Heavily processed
- Silicon Dioxide: Anti-caking agent (prevents clumping in the powder). It’s essentially sand in food-grade form
Don’t eat this toxic garbage. Make America Healthy Again
This MRI study on young kids just exposed something terrifying:
They scanned the brains of 60 children aged 3–5 — including 5-year-old Rose — and found interactive screen time is causing measurable loss of white matter in their developing brains. Even just 2 hours a day is linked to impaired neural connectivity, language, and literacy development.
Professor Mike Nagel (neuroscientist and father) said his first reaction was simply: “Wow… I was not anticipating seeing anything like that.”
We’re physically changing children’s brains before they even start school — and the damage is visible on scans.
This one actually unsettled me. I’ve always suspected too much screen time was bad, but seeing real white matter loss in toddlers hits different.
Parents of little ones — has this kind of research changed how much screen time you allow?
Years ago we chose to homeschool our kids.
This choice often gets criticized, especially on social media
"They wont be socialized"
"Parents are qualified to teach"
Typical homeschool day:
- Sleep until 8/830
- Family walk outside
- Kids cook their breakfast (eggs, smoothie, yogurt etc..)
- 30-60mins of free play
- 10:30-12:30 schooling following local curriculum
- Kids make their own lunch
Rest of the day is sports, playing with friends, field trips with other home school kids etc...
Common government school day
- Wake around 7:00am
- Quick (often unhealthy) breakfast
- Rush to school
- Kids put into overcrowded classrooms, lack of outside time, too much screen use in class...
My kids test at the top of their age groups.
They socialize daily with other kids and commonly get complimented on how polite they are.
They spend time outdoor daily.
My kids also learn basic life skills like cooking, laundry, grocery shopping ect.. that arent taught in schools
Homeschool may not be for every family. But slandering it as an inferior experience for kids is an ignorant take.
