Interested in using #drones to study marsh migration? Check out our new paper published in @FrontRSens: https://t.co/MBnvp8MrNf. We applied #machinelearning techniques to differentiate & monitor Spartina veg over time at Poplar Island, a wetland restoration site in Chesapeake Bay
My wicked @DamesOfDrones counterpart, @aewindle has been hard at work mapping our global #DamesOfDrones community! Check it out and let us know if you'd like us to profile you or a colleague!
Had fun flying #drones over a #cyanobacteria bloom in Lake Erie at a hyperspectral drone demonstration organized by ACT. Drone sensors included @ResononHSI, @HySpexNEO, & @MicaSense. The team also collected hyperspectral data from a crewed @NOAA_GLERL flight & boat.
Interested in using drones to study ocean color? Check out @clifgray's new paper in @aslo_org#ASLO_Methods for details!

Thank you to @US_OCB and @NASAOcean for an incredible week learning about the upcoming PACE mission. We heard from a range of team leaders, got behind the scenes tours of the satellite instruments, learned to pick some Maryland crabs, & made a lot of valuable connections. π°οΈπ¦π«Ά
Learning a ton about the @NASA PACE mission this week! It's amazing to learn about the effort and collaboration that happens behind the scenes. And also how to eat Maryland blue crabs π¦
PACE course off to a great start! Thanks for the advice tonight from NASA Earth Sciences HQ at the PACE course, put on by @US_OCB and @NASAOcean - more of a flowerside chat than fireside chat, either way awesome stories and career advice!
