The helicopter is moving at speed and pitching and rolling and yawing. The fact they are anywhere near target is a miracle

If you look closely you can see him pressing the trim hat switch with his right thumb in the centre stick just as he clears the deck.

This will be to trim the aircraft back to level flight.
