Last week in class my breakout group brainstormed some cool ideas for fostering intergenerational connections on TikTok! A unique way we figured we could engage both older and younger users on TikTok by having TikTok sponsor multigenerational trips/outings.

Thinking about age-related micro-aggressions, these comments might seem small, they can actually hurt people & even though they might not seem mean, they can make people feel bad. "You look good for your age" I hate this one!! What about just "You look good!"

I enjoyed having our guest speaker tonight in class and having him speak on what it is like for him living with dementia and navigating other intersections. It was inspiring to hear him share his experiences and offer a glimpse into his life story.
