We wouldn’t say “organic fertilizers” but rather farmyard manures and / or compost. Organic fertilizers usage in Rwanda is still low due to the lack of proper technologies to make them and lack of raw materials; among other things.
UPDATE: 30.2% of farmers are using pesticides in their farmland, with Rocket, Dithane and Cypermethrin being the top choices, according to new Govt report. 80.1% of farmers use organic fertilizers. DAP, UREA, and NPK were the most common inorganic fertilizers used in the country.
