I’ve known Andrew since our Cambridge days in the early 2000s. He was one of the strongest students in Computer Science and went on to pursue AI research in his PhD at Edinburgh long before AI became mainstream—back when it still felt like science fiction to most people.

He has always had an extraordinary vision for how AI would evolve and reshape the world, along with the rigorous technical depth to drive change at the most fundamental layer: model training itself. It’s incredibly inspiring to see him now turning that long-held vision into reality!
