This is a shocking statistic. Why doesn’t @GardaTraffic enforce this more? As a new cyclist in the city it is still unnerving veering outside the cycle lane to pass these cars. Cycle lanes are not parking spaces. #cyclingindublin
Good evening!
It’s that time of year again where I round up some things I thought were touching, lovely, silly or gas this year. God knows we could all do with the distraction right now 🤪🤪🤪
So sit back, relax and dive in. Hope you enjoy 💕
Well done to @Cballantine@rgctobin @LuciaPrihodova and all involved in this campaign - great work and thank you for being so committed to improving our local area. Every community needs advocates like this. Best of luck today!!
At tomorrow's @DCCSCArea Committee Meeting we'll be seeking @DubCityCouncil's firm commitment to develop a local park in Rialto - serving >60k Dubliners in D6, 7, 8, 10, 12 and 20 - and further commitments in relation to the scope, phasing and funding of this development.
It's estimated that less than 10% of pedestrians would die when struck by a vehicle travelling at 30km/h, compared to 26% at 40km/h, & 80% at 50km/h. We are proposing 30km/h speed limits across most of Dublin City to make the roads safer for all. https://t.co/S5pf3vdOrx

'The Park is for People'...not cars! Have your say on the @phoenixparkopw Transport & Mobility Options Report - deadline for public consultation is tomorrow 12 March 2021. https://t.co/HjSPxeMXxy
A core principle of the Transport & Mobility Options Report is ‘The Park is for People’. If you use the Park for recreation, this is your time to have your say on the recommendations at https://t.co/n1XxgA5cpJ
Some Rialto residents want more for their local green space, which has been taken over by construction of the children’s hospital for years, than the council is now proposing. https://t.co/NPt7QBLr3M
Delighted to see this article in @DublinInquirer we all want our linear park back. It's our closest in green space. Vital for health, mind and body. #quality#public realm
Residents of our Rialto community spoke with @ClaudiaDalby about the social impact of @nch_info on daily life in #Dublin8 and also about @DubCityCouncil's masterplan for our local park. (thread) 1/
Man from Texas, a State that has reported 10,000 new covid cases and 100 deaths in one day, arrives in Ireland and claims covid has all just been ‘overblown’... and we are supposed to trust that he will self-quarantine for 14 days?!
Day one of restored car access to the #PhoenixPark.
The side gates are open to cars less than twelve hours and this is what's going on in a space that was calmly car-free just yesterday.
This is why we can't have nice things, evidently.
The Office of Public Works (OPW) today announces the re-opening of the perimeter gates to the Phoenix Park, with the exception of Knockmaroon Gate, with affect from Friday 10th July 2020. Further details https://t.co/LBKoWrwB5F
@KLM @KLM_EIR Had just begun speaking with an agent and the call was terminated, no issue at my end - can you please call me back as a matter of urgency? I was on hold for over 2 hours and lines close within the hour!
@KLM @KLM_EIR 2 hours listening to hold music, still no reply - ‘all agents busy’; what are the agents’ KPIs?! And why does it not tell me how long the queue is?
@KLM_EIR I have sent direct message on twitter, facebook, whatsapp. I need to change the name on a flight ticket, and the flight is in less than 24 hours. Phoneline is down and this change CANNOT be made online - please respond!
