Bit late to the post but I really enjoyed working on this episode of The Inquiry for @bbcworldservice asking "Are synthetic opioids a global problem?" https://t.co/0X1J8to212

🕊️ RIP George Alagiah
He was man whose name we shouted when we saw his face on the telly, the journalist who bravely told stories in the most empathetic of ways & the colleague that took time for us when we pestered him for advice. He was a giant and a gem 🙏🏽
Growing up, when the BBC’s George Alagiah was on TV my dad would shout “George is on!”. We’d run to watch the man who inspired a generation of British Asian journalists.
That scene was replicated across the U.K.
We thank you, George. RIP xx 💔 https://t.co/tkh9NOtHip

Wow! What a fabulous morning Year 6 had at The Bridgewater Hall! We went along to the Big Sing and loved listening to the live band and singers. We joined in with all the Motown hits and danced along from start to finish! Utterly fabulous! @BridgewaterHall@OneEdMusic
