गुजरात के पाटन जिले के सांतलपुर तहसील के पिपराला गांव के हरजी भाई देवा भाई सोलंकी को बगल के जाखोत्रा गांव में जिंदा जला कर उनकी हत्या कर दी गई है! जिला पुलिस अधीक्षक से अभी मेरी बात हुई, उन्होंने ने घटना की पुष्टि की है, लेकिन किन कारणों के चलते यह हुआ वह अभी तक पता नहीं चला! गुजरात अपने विकास के तमाम दावों के बावजूद दलितों के नर्क बनता जा रहा है, यह बड़े दुःख के साथ कहना पड़ रहा है!
