・Hacer otro máster
・Buscar “tu verdadera pasión”
You can get 95% of the results you want by calmly putting one foot in front of the other. One former Navy SEAL friend texted me a principle used in their training: “Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast.”

Roles are collapsing.
If you're a "Software Engineer" today, you may be a "Product Engineer" soon - with many more responsibilities.
So:
- Learn design/UX/QA/PM skills.
- Focus more on the user, and less on the syntax.

We just published our internal 37signals Manager Playbook.
https://t.co/o4L62YlQOJ
Inside we share what’s expected of managers, team leadership philosophies of 37signals, our "Hell Yeah" standard, how to navigate difficult conversations, and how to balance management duties with core individual contributor work. Plus a whole lot more.
There are no "just managers" at 37signals, so the individual contributor bit is key.
Questions? Comments? Post 'em here and I'll do my best to make sense.
Whenever someone gets promoted at 37signals, we post a company-wide message in Basecamp so everyone knows.
Here's a real example of a message that covers two promotions (Silvia and Lewis):
https://t.co/lwUSEc59az
Posting the message gives everyone a chance to celebrate, for teammates to post comments of congratulations, and for future employees to be able to anticipate the excitement of their own potential promotions down the road. Promotions aren't ephemeral events, they're permanent celebratory milestones. That's why they get a full post, not just a mention or chat line somewhere.
And since all posts in Basecamp are private unless they're made public, when one is made public we add a little flag to the top right of the page. You can click that link to turn off the private share whenever you'd like. You also have the option to share comments, or not. In the case above I'm also sharing comments.
Here's my 6 hour conversation with @dhh, a legendary programmer, creator of Ruby on Rails, author, and race car driver. This was a fun and inspiring conversation on everything from the future of programming & AI to the nature of happiness & productivity to the value of family, getting married and having kids.
X limits video length to 6 hours. So this full convo doesn't fit (by a few minutes). So, the first 6 hours are here on X. The full version is up everywhere else (see comment).
