The Proton Putra WRC Prototype
The Proton Putra WRC Prototype was a rally car developed in the late 1990s by Prodrive for Proton, but it was never rallied.
The project was Proton hoping to replicate Subaru’s success in the WRC while at the same time spearheading Proton’s name worldwide
Built to compete in the WRC under the new 1997 regulations, it featured a Prodrive-built 4G93T turbocharged engine with a 2.0L displacement, all-wheel drive, a sequential gearbox, and aerodynamic body modifications.
Sadly, the project was canned by Proton and Prodrive. Both have never officially admitted to the existence of this tight-lipped project.
In the end, Proton decided to move on with the Proton PERT car – a rebadged version of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, and the rest as they say, is history.
It’s said that pressure on Prodrive by Subaru and at the same time Mitsubishi putting pressure on Proton was the reason the project was cancelled but this can’t be clarified.
Meanwhile, the two bespoke units were shipped back to Proton and are there till this day.
A huge “what if" in rallying history

#AWANInews
Around 1000 people are protesting the Norwegian national teams game against Israel in Oslo. There's also complete stop in public transport as the unions go on strike. Although Norway is a country of immense national pride in sports - football is not this important. 📸 NRK
Ziopath: You should go to Gaza.
Other Ziopath: Why don't you go to Gaza?
Other other Ziopath: Go to Gaza, see how you do.
Flotilla: <goes to Gaza>
Ziopaths: NO NOT LIKE THAT!!!!
Listen carefully.
You say this is "Jewish land for 3,500 years."
But history is not a property deed.
If age alone gave ownership, the Canaanites would rise from the soil and evict you tomorrow.
If conquest gave legitimacy, Rome would still rule Jerusalem.
If scripture was a land title, every empire in history would resurrect to reclaim what it once held.
But history moves forward.
It does not sign contracts for eternity.
You call Canada, the UK, and Australia "weak and naïve."
But tell me, who created your state?
It was London that drafted the Balfour Declaration.
It was Washington that armed and funded you.
It was the UN that forced a partition on Palestine without its people’s consent.
You did not rise alone from the ashes.
You were delivered on the back of empire.
So spare us the courage talk.
You’ve been carried on another man’s shoulders since birth.
You say Palestine is a "Trojan horse for jihad."
No.
Palestine is the homeland of a people who were expelled, massacred, and erased from maps.
The refugee camps are not jihad.
The key around an old woman’s neck is not jihad.
The olive trees bulldozed in the West Bank are not jihad.
They are memory.
They are history.
They are lives interrupted by the myth you call sovereignty.
You say "Israel will never retreat."
But empires always say that, right before they fall.
France said it in Algeria.
Britain said it in India.
America said it in Vietnam.
History has never once been impressed by the boasts of occupiers.
"One state. One people. One land."
Yes, that is the dream of every settler colony, from South Africa to Rhodesia to French Indochina.
And every one of them believed it was eternal.
Every one of them said "we are here forever."
And every one of them fell.
Not because they were weak.
But because the people they tried to erase refused to vanish.
So keep chanting your slogans.
But remember: it is not the occupier who decides forever.
It is the land.
It is the people.
And both still speak the name you are trying to silence.
Palestine.
Today, Israel bombed Doha in Qatar
Yesterday, Israel bombed the flotilla in Tunis
Last week, Israel murdered the Prime Minister of Yemen
Last few months, Israel bombed Iran, Lebanon & Syria
Tell me, what country on earth could get away with that?
Then ask yourself, why?
They targeted the spot that journalists have used for 23 months to connect to the WiFi because they want to murder without the world witnessing.

A biblical famine now stalks the Holy Land. Man-made, by Israel, the US, the UK, France, Germany and most of the western-world. Its handmaidens were the vast majority of the broadcasters and journalists of the west. May God damn them all to eternal torment. #Gaza
Israel is killing more than 2 million people in Palestine without any consequences because it has the cover and support to do so from the USA, UK and EU.
