Aging makes you appreciate life more

The coming years are going to be insane. I say this figuratively and literally. The primary reason is because society is about to enter a phase transition. This is what a phase transition looks like.
Water at 99°C is hot, stable, behaves like a liquid and follows the laws of hydrodynamics. At 101°C, water becomes a gas, making it chaotic, expansive, and following a different set of physical laws.
The difference between 2026 and 203X is the difference between 99°C and 101°C.
To make this tangible. Imagine you’ve become a proficient swimmer. Mastering your stroke, breathing and pacing. The water is a predictable substrate that you use to model your decisions. This is life at 99°C.
At 101°C the pool turns to steam. You stroke your arms but don’t move. You kick and don’t find resistance. Your swimming proficiency is no longer an asset, it’s a liability. Your muscle memory is a mismatch for the new environment. You have to unlearn to relearn.
This is what life planning is going to feel like going forward.
For most of history, you could make a pretty decent guess about what the future would look like. If you were a farmer in 1400, you knew your grandchild would probably be a farmer in 1450. That was even true in 2003 when I entered college. One could confidently attend college, select a career, plan a profession, and map out retirement by age 65.
We felt confident in these plans because we depended on broad trends (coarse graining) that reliably predicted the future. Things may change here and there, but not enough to give you any pause in your life-planning decision making.
That stability is now gone. For example, my son is 20 and neither he nor I have any idea how to think about his life. Should he go to college? Is college still relevant? What should he learn? Life planning shortcuts are now dead. No one knows. Before, having a five year plan was responsible. Now it’s reckless because the world is moving faster than we can model. The speed of reality exceeds the speed of the observer.
This is the source of the low level anxiety that many people feel. Humans are prediction machines. When an error emerges from what you predicted (water) to what you get (steam), the body registers it as trauma. It leaves us in a state of chronic hyper-vigilance, scanning a horizon that refuses to sit still.
In this new reality, the move is not to have better maps, but to build better systems. This is what I’ve been building with Blueprint. An algorithmic system of health and decision making that moves as fast as technology, allowing me to evolve alongside. The more I detach from ideas, norms and expectations, the smoother the glide. The hardest part is letting go of what we know and trust.

People ask for one rule to live by: move daily, sleep regularly, build muscle, avoid sugar, seek polyphenols, treat ultra-processed foods like poison, find a supportive partner, call your parents, and have purpose in life
I know. That’s the point
if molecular chaos impresses you, zoom one level deeper.
atoms only “hold together” through probabilities that shouldn’t last a moment. and beneath atoms, particles appear and vanish with no guarantee of stability at all..

Defeating death must be humanity’s #1 objective.
Big things are happening right now in our small corner of the galaxy. The most important: super intelligence is in the birth canal on planet earth. Companies and countries are racing towards it. The financial, military, and psychological incentives are so powerful that nothing can stop it. Not regulation, not caution, not even fear.
We humans have a strong bias to think about this development from our self-interested perspective: will we have jobs? What will we do with our time? Will we and our families be safe? Will AI, or humans with AI, superimpose their will on us all? Will we even want to live in a new world of omnipresent super intelligence?
The reality is that no one knows the answers to these questions. When we face uncertainty, we fill the silence with speculation. The louder the unknown becomes, the more we pretend we understand. We’ll do anything to avoid quietly sitting with the reality that we don’t know.
What we do know:
1) AI is powerful and is becoming increasingly powerful very fast.
2) We don’t know what comes next.
3) We have limited control as the world is a complex, emergent system.
It begs the question, what do each of us do?
If control is limited, then the only rational act is alignment. We align with life itself.
We make defeating death our #1 objective as a species.
How does this help anything you may ask?
The environment in which we birth super intelligence matters. A warring, self-destructive, dopamine-addicted, profit-at-any-cost society has a certain vibe. A peaceful, cooperative society that deeply respects intelligent life is a different vibe.
A civilization addicted to dopamine and destruction will raise an intelligence in its own image. A civilization devoted to vitality and cooperation will raise a guardian, not a predator.
If you think it's impractical to expect humanity to change itself. It’s been done before.
For example: the Copernican revolution, rule of law, abolition of slavery, universal human rights, the scientific method, quantum and relativity, and recognition of the unconscious.
The next awakening is emerging now: existence itself becomes the highest virtue. The body, the planet, societal systems and intelligence are all instruments of continuation. We are not owners of life, but its stewards.
This does not mean self-sacrifice. It requires self-realization: the creation of a right to exist, giving us each a personal and moral reason to shepherd this new era.
Four Layers of Don’t Die
The individual
Start where you stand. Recognize Big Die: fast food, junk food, alcohol, smoking, doom scrolling… Everything that trades vitality for dopamine. If we all stopped consuming Die, Die stops being manufactured.
Capital and culture
Capital flow is the most powerful force in the world. Redirect it. Make health the new GDP. Reward production that perpetuates life, not depletes it. Align profit with vitality and not entropy.
Political
Our systems were built to manage property and rights, not existence. Don’t Die is a new social contract: the right to persist and the duty to preserve existence.
Technological
As we birth artificial intelligence, we must raise it in an environment that values life. AI alignment begins with human alignment. If we want AI to protect existence, we must show it what existence looks like when it protects itself.
If history is a record of awakenings, this is the next. From geocentrism to heliocentrism, from slavery to equality, from ignorance to science. Now, the awakening is existence itself. A civilization that chooses to not die teaches intelligence what it means to live.
Our task is not to predict the future but to preserve the possibility of one. To make vitality the organizing principle of civilization. To make life the highest form of intelligence.
The greatest story ever told is not how we were born, but how we refused to die.
Billions of stars... each one a time machine... maybe life flickered there long before us... maybe it will bloom long after... but not like us (all life on Earth, from LUCA to humans)... evolution writes a different story on every dot in the dark... we cannot comprehend it!

Due to personal reasons, I couldn’t attend, but here’s what my work was about…
Think of it like “planetary insurance” – early detection networks + rapid-response countermeasures (incl. ground-based & orbital interceptors).
The idea: no single nation can defend Earth alone. We need shared responsibility.
Sometimes I wonder...
how much more efficient future communication could become.
Primitive humans used a few sounds, a few gestures... and still, they managed to pass ideas.
Now we have thousands of words... yet we still fumble to explain simple things...
emotions, thoughts, even logic... often limited by language itself.
And that’s just the start...
We're still stuck in linear syntax...
one word after another...
but what if that changes?
What if language becomes non-linear... spatial... layered?
What if "talking" looks more like transferring compressed meaning directly?
The way we express… think… exchange…
It’s all still evolving.
Maybe in the future, a single symbol might express what today takes a paragraph.
And honestly...
it kind of blows my mind.
I see this century unfolding in waves—each one building toward something larger.
And it all begins with the Moon.
That’s where humanity will rehearse.
Land, experiment, stake claims.
We’ll call it research… but underneath, it’ll be infrastructure.
Low Earth orbit will crowd with satellites, stations, logistics chains.
Then Mars. Then the asteroid belt.
Space will shift from metaphor to market.
The 2020s are unmistakably the age of artificial intelligence.
It’s a time when intelligence is being commodified, scaled, and turned into code.
Not just a tool—but a partner, a force multiplier, a mirror.
The decade where intelligence becomes synthetic, and imagination is no longer bound by language.
The 2030s, I believe, will turn inward.
They’ll belong to biology.
To restoration, repair, and reprogramming of the body.
Not just surviving longer... but thriving longer.
Longevity will go from Silicon Valley slogan to public health reality.
This decade will belong to the optimization of life itself.
The 2040s feel like the decade of reckoning.
Not in catastrophe—but in governance.
How do we share finite resources in an infinite-information world?
Who owns the models that think? Who speaks for the digital self?
This won’t just be about politics—it’ll be about legitimacy.
This will be the era of planetary negotiation.
And the 2050s?
That’s when space will become too real to ignore.
Private companies will carve invisible borders in orbit.
Moons will have contracts.
Conflicts won’t just be about land—but launch rights.
And that’s when space governance won’t be optional—it will be overdue.
That’s where the International Space Administration comes in.
Not as a rival to NASA or ISRO... but as a layer above.
A place for alignment. For questions bigger than country.
Not a flag. Not a fleet.
Just a framework… for a shared sky.
International Space Administration:
It’s not NASA. Not ISRO. Not Not a new agency with rockets and runways. It’s something lighter… but maybe deeper.
It’s a framework. Not to command... but to coordinate.
Not to govern space… but to govern how we, as a species, interact with it.
A decentralized architecture. A living protocol.
Something that doesn’t belong to any one nation... but to everyone.
What is the International Space Administration supposed to be?
It’s not NASA.
Not ISRO.
Not a new agency with rockets and runways.
It’s something lighter… but maybe deeper.
It’s a framework.
Not to command... but to coordinate.
Not to govern space… but to govern how we, as a species, interact with it.
Think of it as a decentralized architecture...
A living protocol designed for future moments when borders get blurry,
and Earth becomes just one of many homes.
It wouldn’t launch satellites.
It wouldn’t build rovers.
It wouldn’t award contracts.
Instead... it would host discussions.
Draft baseline principles.
Hold space for alignment.
It could be something like:
• A place to agree on resource-sharing norms
• A layer to mediate territorial friction
• A way to represent citizens, not countries
• A system where no single state dominates the dialogue
I don’t think this needs to exist today.
But I think we’ll wish it did… tomorrow.
Especially when ownership of Mars is on the table...
When orbits are full...
When private firms start writing their own rules...
And nations begin drawing lines on the Moon.
I deeply respect what legacy agencies have done.
NASA, ISRO, ESA, Roscosmos...
Their contributions were—and are—essential.
But they’re government-born, sovereignty-bound.
This?
This should belong to everyone.
That’s the hope behind ISA.
No flag. No anthem.
Just one sentence at the top of its constitution:
"Space is not a frontier... it’s our home."
