Started my PhD at the University of Cologne as part of IMPRS A&A grad school & SFB1601. Kinda long journey from Mechanical engg to MSc in Astrophysics to Python Developer and now back to Astro.
@EDushyanth : Physics after physics after engineering ho gaya ;) and thanks for CoS ❤️
What an honor it was to work at Prof. Krausz's Attosecond Physics Lab at MPQ (as a developer tho 😬) and ofc attend his class at LMU.
Congratulations for the Nobel Prize!! 🎉
Ferenc Krausz, awarded the 2023 #NobelPrize in Physics, was born in 1962 in Mór, Hungary.
He is the director at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics (@MPI_Quantum
), Garching and professor at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Germany.

#sciops2022 on AI in Astronomy at ESO, Garching. New revelation for me was #pyESASky presented by Marcos Lòpez. Thanks a ton Marcos! Check out https://t.co/Ch9m4pd6Tn
Nice to attend (in person^^) the press release of first image of MW Black Hole Sgr*A at @ESO HQ, Garching.
PS: Prof. Reinhard Genzel is sitting right ahead of me ;)
@GauriMirji I'm doing MSc physics in Pune University. I run this community 'Physics after Engineering'. There are 1000+ Physics loving engineers looking to study master's and PhD in Physics. But the eligibility criteria wouldn't let many of them follow their passion.. (1/n)
I really can't believe that much educated policy makers of UGC can be this short sighted! They are promoting First year students WITHOUT any exams when those kids will be in college for 3 more years! They frickin' need to study and clear concepts!

Just came to know about the issue. It's horrendous what happened with them. #JusticeForJeyarajAndFenix. Police brutality is an even bigger issue here in India.
