Congratulations @hammer_chess winning U2200 prize at @FIDE_chess World Rapid and Blitz Teams-the team included Marco Gallana, Tom Villiers, Alistair Hill, Ashley Stewart, Kai Hanache, Gaston Franco, Maria-Alexandra Ciocan, Aryaman Ganguly & Gesneria-Codruta Cepoi. Well done, all!
Our team received the U2200 prize yesterday at the #FIDERapidBlitzTeams closing ceremony!
It was an honor to share the stage with so many chess professionals, and we are immensely proud of what our club has achieved!
@ecfchess@KingsCollegeLon How is quality calculated? Higher performance rating or are you looking at the number of inaccuracies, mistakes and blunders?
Didn't like the way this @JDVance1 bloke (newly picked as #Trump's running mate) slagged off the UK lately. Looked into him. Not great. Made a parody song inspired by @ABBA called "Vance VP" 🎶
Shout out #americast (@BBCsarahsmith/@awzurcher) & @RestIsPolitics for ℹ️ profiles 👍
Thank you, Mr. Barden, for highlighting Kai's joint 2nd place finish in the World Rapid Championships. Your support has been a great inspiration to English juniors.
Extensive coverage of a range of British young talent, many of whom have been invited to The nine-round Kingston Invitational organised by @StephenMossGdn https://t.co/4u7BzpGY4D
So thrilled to see @NatashaRegan123 triumph at the Women’s English Seniors Championships! Her incredible contributions to chess—as a player, author, commentator, and enthusiastic supporter of junior players—make this victory even more special. Congrats Natasha and thank you!
A huge congratulations to @GMPeteWells for winning the English Senior Championship! It couldn't have happened to a more deserving gentleman. PS: If you haven't read the book he co-wrote, "Chess Improvement," you're missing out.
Great English turnout at the World Cadet Rapid. All-England pairing to close the Open U-12 a mixed blessing, but says something when it's on Bd 3. Anyone who has followed Oleg Verbytski's recent form will understand the scale of Kai Hanache's victory to reach 8.5/11!
