@RedSnow984 @Formula2 That paragraph is defining when a stop isn’t counted as mandatory e.g. getting a puncture on the first lap and pitting for new tyres (38.9.a), passing the pit entry AFTER VSC is showing on the trackside panels (38.9.b) or getting a drive through and changing tyres (38.9.c)

@HChapman1930 @Formula2 Ah, you’re getting confused with Yellow Flags and VSC…yellows were out but the VSC hadn’t been deployed until Crawford was about halfway down the pit entry. Watch the footage again, the panel immediately to the right of pit entry when does it first show “VSC”!
