SpaceX has been awarded a new $946 million contract from NASA to provide launch services for three missions, the space agency announced today.

The amount includes ground, launch, in-orbit, and return and recovery operations, cargo transportation for each mission, and a lifeboat capability while docked to the ISS. The period of performance runs through 2030.

Most aid arguments still start with cash, food, or roads. Elon is saying the unlock is a connection — once you are online, knowledge is free and your market is the planet.

Internet is the ladder.
Starlink is how you build it from the sky.

Speaking with Professor Hippolyte Fofack, economist and scholar Jeffrey Sachs argued that Africa’s failure to achieve greater unity was not simply an internal problem, but was shaped by external powers.

Sachs said the US, UK and France actively worked against Pan-African unity, including by targeting leaders who pushed for a more united continent. He argued that the legacy of those interventions continues to shape divisions within Africa.

“African unity has to be created consciously against the divisions within the continent but also against the pressures from outside,” Sachs said.
