While over the years the PDC left BDO behind in 1996 this wasn't the case. With the exception of Phil

BDO prize money and tournament average were both significantly higher.

@bqr2hyvgqn @_WokeNonsenseFC The difference being the qualifier for the Grand Slam is only got TCH so having it a week before is fine.

The prelims for the Masters includes entrants from the global affiliate tours so makes more sense to have them the same week to reduce costs for those travelling a long way
