A senior citizen couple was allegedly assaulted by a car driver outside Jupiter Hospital in Thane on June 9 at around 8:00 PM. According to reports, the incident began when the driver was allegedly spitting outside his car, and the senior citizen politely told him in English, "Don't spit."
The driver allegedly lost his temper upon hearing the remark and reportedly assaulted the senior citizen. Such acts of hooliganism and violence against senior citizens are unacceptable and should not be tolerated in Thane.
Thane Police should take strict action against such local miscreants.
