@tortillauk family served inedible gone off guac in our takeaway tonight from Islington Upper Street, clearly not kept at safe temperature. Spent ages filling out your contact form on the website answering irrelevant qq only to get a message saying error submitting. What now?
@OctopusEnergy electricity meter has failed (no flashing red light or display). Rest of street power is on. I emailed the emergency email address but no reply or even confirmation of receipt. What do we do now?
@breeallegretti We don’t need national tv debates for the benefit of a couple hundred thousand party members. Let them do them on YouTube or something on their website.
@karunchandhok Your commentary was also top notch, it really aired our enjoyment of the fantastic battle at the front. Fluent, coherent and insightful as the intensity ramped up - bravo! 👏
@RoryStewartUK I agree it’s not good - wastes government time and only increases legislative ‘clutter’ - but fail to see how it impacts prisons as if the offences are being committed and are sufficiently defined in existing law, the demand on courts and prisons should be the same..?

@ElCShaikh@Feargal_Sharkey This is the present scandal - more than whatever happened 10 or more years ago, the on-going and deliberate foot-dragging of the government to avoid paying out compensation and making any amends with the innocent.
@HectorWMcNeill@Frances_Coppola@AdamBienkov @susiemichele Agreed. The real problem is that while there is enough wealth in the system to pay the prices, an increasing number of people are being left behind. They're largely invisible to the market, and rely on intervention to help.
.@Shell made £33bn profit in 2022.
That could pay for the energy bills of HALF of all UK households.
Instead? Shell paid just £15m in tax to the UK. That's just 22p per Brit!
My new film with @Global_Witness
They're richer because you're poorer!

Thread 1) @elonmusk is promoting racist misinformation in the wake of the #allentx shootings. There are a number of examples but I want to focus on this graph, which has been shared and liked hundreds of thousands of times. What's the story behind it, and why is it misleading?
