@seanstidston My marriage broke down some years after my sons & I became ill with ME. It’s been challenging on our own, but released us somewhat of the burden of feeling like we should ‘try harder’ 💤🙄

It keeps getting worse & worse & worse & nobody helps me. I’m not allowed to rest. I’m not allowed disability aids. They yell at me for ordering food. They steal everything. Not allowed air filter. My clothes are mouldy. I take up too much space. I can’t exist here must escape!!

Avoid people who judge what you had to do to survive. They judge you from a place of safety and stability. Instead of showing compassion for what you endured, they add shame on top of it. They make your survival the problem, rather than the circumstances that forced your hand.
