CEOs: don’t be cheap while paying your sales people. Just like a 10x engineer can be as productive as several engineers combined, a superstar sales person can deliver sales >> 5-6 sales people. Consider paying them 20% (of annual first year ACV they acquire). If an AE closes $5m ACV, they should make $1m comp.
