Had nearly $10k months with one of my first “businesses” in 2019:
Buying couches on Craigslist and selling them on Facebook. 🛋️
People get rid of stuff on Craigslist — FB’s algorithm leads people to buying things.
Lots of work + time involved, but it was fun!
@MuhammadLila@chrissyfarr@tryteamtown Thanks, Muhammad :)
Happy to chat, Christina! We’re a design subscription service with expert deck designers on our team.
If you can’t find happiness and content at $150k a year in whatever lifestyle that Ben guy described, you have bigger issues to solve. Course sellers never let up
@matt__yao I live in a pretty busy home, so it could be the reduction of distractions? I’ve gotten used to the noise of the city, but I feel like I’m interrupted less when I’m plugged in.
I only listen to instrumental music when I’m working. No words. Highly recommend!
The book “Four Thousand Weeks” is an essential read before going off the deep end on self help books. IMO - helps you take everything with a grain of salt and avoid over-optimizing everything
On the bridge of the container ship Dali, 4 minutes from disaster, there's one critical moment we haven't heard about yet.
The very moment the ship lost power the 1st time.
What did the pilot do, right then?
His first thought, apparently, was safety — the bridge looming ahead.

BC is such a prime place to live. Hiked this mountain in the morning, went to the beach for lunch, had a swim in a farm country lake before dinner. Lucky to have grown up here.
