We have absolutely no reliable information on Imran Khan’s health. Imran Khan have never had any blood pressure issues. His normal blood pressure has always been on the lower side since he does regular exercise for several hours a day. So this disinformation being spread on Imran Khan has all the markings of the agency disinformation cell. Are they trying to set the stage for something more serious to happen to him? All those claiming credible sources are effecting their own credibility!

PTI leadership has requested opposition leader Mehmood Khan Achakzai that, if there is a time frame on the gathering outside Adiala Jail on Tuesday, they can mobilize 10,000 people. We welcome this proposal and have accepted their request.

On Tuesday, 16 June, we will gather outside Adiala Jail from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

A strong gathering of 10,000 people outside Adiala should create the necessary pressure to end Imran Khan’s prolonged isolation and ensure that his eye condition is properly examined and treated at Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad, in the presence of his family and personal physician.

This is a humanitarian and legal demand. The basic rights of a former Prime Minister and political prisoner must be respected.

کشمیر پاکستان کی شہ رگ ہے، اور کشمیری اپنے بنیادی حقوق کے لیے جدوجہد کر رہے ہیں۔ جمہوری معاشروں میں اپنے حقوق کا مطالبہ کرنے والوں کو مذاکرات کی میز پر بٹھایا جاتا ہے، لیکن بدقسمتی سے پاکستان میں اکثر مسائل کو طاقت اور گولی کے ذریعے حل کرنے کی کوشش کی جاتی ہے، جس کے نتیجے میں مزید نقصان ہوتا ہے۔

ہمارے کشمیری بھائی شہید ہوئے، جبکہ ان کا قصور صرف اپنے حقوق کا مطالبہ کرنا تھا۔ ان پر بھی اسی طرح گولیاں چلائی گئیں جس طرح 26 نومبر کو اسلام آباد میں ہمارے پُرامن کارکنوں پر چلائی گئی تھیں۔

گولی اور جبر کے بجائے اگر ریاست مذاکرات کے ذریعے مسائل حل کرنے کی کوشش کرے تو نہ صرف تنازعات جلد حل ہو سکتے ہیں بلکہ جانی و مالی نقصان سے بھی بچا جا سکتا ہے۔ لیکن اگر یہی طرزِ عمل جاری رہا کہ بندوق اور ڈنڈے کے زور پر لوگوں کی آواز دبانا ہی واحد حل ہے، تو حالات مزید خراب ہونے کا خدشہ ہے۔ یہاں تک کہ صورتحال اس نہج پر پہنچ سکتی ہے جہاں نہ مذاکرات کارگر رہیں گے اور نہ ہی طاقت کے استعمال سے معاملات قابو میں لائے جا سکیں گے۔
