@ColeMacro I would short it at anything over 102. A lot of SATA shareholders would also sell around that price. The company needs to capture gains above $100, not new short sellers or existing shareholders. Could you even get it that high without the market crushing the price back down?
@btcjvs@BitPaine Always wondered how the stock would move around ex-div with the $100 stability target + monthly payout. Haven't seen discussion on that aspect.
@DaveHittite@astrodanish A baseline for comparison later is ultimate in personalized medicine. Comparing my latest MRI against gen-pop? No good. Comparing to my twice annual MRIs from the last 10years? Awesome. Same is true for a whole host of diagnostic tests we should be getting annually at a minimum.
Chanos shorting MSTR and buying BTC has to do with closing the mNAV. That can be done by bringing MSTR price down but can also be done by bringing BTC price up. That is what shorting MSTR/longing BTC does. If he can close it, the MSTR model starts to break.
@trading_pjv77 The Breakdown with Nathaniel Whitmore. It was Aug or Sept 2020, right after mstr first bought Bitcoin. Early Saylor. Less polished, super honest. Vegas analogy from that interview is what he is doing with mstr now.
@alistairmilne I'm not fussed. It's a start. As normies who clearly doesn't understand the space, they are trying to cover all bases. You might even call it a prudent allocation to shitcoins.
@_Checkmatey_ Maybe the other buyer you are looking for are sovereigns, not necessarily other companies that are copycats. Outside the US, countries conflate US companies with the US government. He's buying at nation state levels at this point anyway.
