I’ve never been so afraid. From night till morning, the Israeli army put my city under curfew-arresting anyone who moved. Trapped, helpless, suffocated. Every aspect of human dignity is being violated. No one should live like this.#Tulkarem
Thank you dear @DineshaSam, your presence enriches any conference and conversation we share. Here’s to hoping our next meeting finds the world a bit calmer. Until the next city!
#Oscars2025 🇵🇸 @basel_adra: “We call on the world to take serious actions to stop the injustice and to stop the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.” #NoOtherLand
.@yuval_abraham: When I look at @basel_adra I see my brother, but we are unequal. We live in a regime where I am free under civilian law and Basel is under military laws that destroy his life and he cannot control, there is a different path…the foreign policy in 🇺🇸 is helping block this
My hometown of #Tulkarem, a peaceful city with one of the most # educated populations, is under attack. Israeli tanks are destroying the downtown area, where our family pharmacy—a place of healing for generations—might now be reduced to rubble with pharmacists locked inside.
Before 2024 ends,a glimpse of my talk with @UNESCO in Addis Ababa on “Science as a Human Right.” Science must be a public good, rooted in justice and open access. UNESCO has the opportunity to lead by protecting scientists in war zones. https://t.co/1ECLN9NhPw

Honored to guest lecture on Law and Colonialism at Sciences Po-Menton. Discussed the profound impact of current student protests on Palestinian identity. Inspired by the insightful and hopeful next generation of thinkers! #SciencesPoMenton#PalestinianIdentity#FutureLeaders
Students from #Sciences Po, one of the most prestigious universities in France, where many politicians and leaders are educated, are raising their voices against the injustices faced by Palestinians #Palestine
#barelife seems like a very real concept these days. Palestinians are losing their lives in #Gaza, the #WestBank, and #Jerusalem while the US and others simply watch. This book, with its content and the cover ‘The Waiting Crowd’ by Sliman Mansour, is very much needed now
BREAKING: Today, we witness the total ISraeli destruction of the most important, 700 beds specialty hospital in Gaza, Al Shifa Medical Complex. It was established 78 years ago during the British Mandate, the name Shifa meaning 'The House of Healing'; now turned into a 'House of Death' by Israel and the US, burnt, totally destroyed to rubble and turned into a graveyard of patients, medical staff, relatives and refugees. A massive symbol of the heartless, cynical ISraeli politics of colonial occupation with the goal of elimination of the Palestinian people, their social institutions and their lives. US, EU, UK governments stand shamed, complicit by their support for ISraeli war crimes and atrocities against all humanity. Watch carefully the killing fields of Shifa, never ever forget the Gaza genocide, the perpetrators, and the complicit powers! Dr. Mads
At the CSW in NY, I spoke about the academic situation in #palestine, honoring Prof. Sofian Tayeh (a fellow UNESCO Chair holder)& others lost. Solidarity & support filled the room, emphasizing the need to keep raising our voices. #CSW#Solidarity#Academia#Gaza_life_matters
