Abstract:

As a former @github data scientist, I’ve spent years analyzing complex dataset - user behavior, product engagement, retention - and translating that into stories that influence decisions. In this talk, I’ll show how to use JavaScript alongside AI coding tools like @AnthropicAI, @boltdotnew , & @lovable to bring data to life through visual storytelling.

You’ll see how to:
• Use JS frameworks and D3 to build fast, interactive visualizations
• Automate data prep and analysis with AI coding copilots
• Turn messy datasets into clean, compelling visuals
• Apply storytelling techniques to highlight insights, not just numbers
