@andrew__rea Yeah agreed - Bessemer has good stuff on this. Totally changes by category I.e. construction has low SaaS fees and higher % fintech revenue (>80%) because materials are expensive whereas something like SHOP is probably more down the middle. Gotta crank through this map!
@marcbienaime@sarthakgh Just tough because presumably the founder and early investors got smoked on the new pref stack, so that $300m accrues to catterton. Hard to make hardware work but in an ideal world you’d encourage the technical and product risk tonal took with a large economic outcome.
