Today’s Court order to halt construction and other works inside Nairobi National Park is an affirmation that the People’s Power is superior to the people in power.

I celebrate and salute all those who braved tear gas, defied unlawful arrests, and stared down the rogue regime to protect the Park.

Your courage is the bedrock of our democracy.

The fight is not over.

But we must celebrate every victory as we prepare to fight tomorrow for our sovereignty, for our heritage.

💪This is a massive victory for citizen-led action over state-backed environmental destruction.

🇰🇪We extend our deepest gratitude to every single Kenyan who stood up to be counted. Thank you to the thousands who signed the online petition, and an immense thank you to the brave souls who marched, resisted, and were even arrested on the front lines—including Chief Justice Emeritus David Maraga (@dkmaraga)—proving that defending our land is a duty that knows no rank.

🥷The Ruto regime has effectively declared a war against nature, overseeing the aggressive decimation of our trees and vital forests across the country. But today proves that ordinary people are not powerless.
