@ChrisWhittier @tuftsvet Awesome find! I have only seen 2 or 3 'black and tan' coyotes like this. One in the Vancover, Canada area - was photographed quite a bit last year/year before - and one popped up in Louisiana a few years ago. I'll send you the photos/info.

35 years ago today, 8 captive-born red wolves were released into the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge wilds on North Carolina’s Albemarle Peninsula. Declared extinct in the wild in 1980, these red wolves carried the future of their species on their shoulders. #RedWolfWeek
