@conz How about having only half-started? For 15 years I've had a pay-as-you-go cell phone plan (I think they even got rid of it but I'm grandfathered in). I rarely text and have no data so can only access the internet on it via Wi-Fi.
@WhileWfh It's not fun being a wheelchair user here in winter. My daughter uses an electric one and bitches at me half the winter about why did I choose to live here.
@Lizb7Rawlins The other night I was *thisclose* to saying, "I delivered a dead baby, I win!", which obviously doesn't help but sometimes it gets to be too much for her and us. But he managed to talk her down.
@Lizb7Rawlins Yes, that's my daughter. She's also in counseling but gets in a loop & honestly often seems to thrive on the negativity & picks fights. My husband tries to relate to her re: the anxiety but hers is always worse. (1/2)
@Lizb7Rawlins@InTriguEe907 I mean I am not discounting that many working parents do rely on school to fill their childcare needs because it's too expensive and too unavailable. But that's a side benefit...this made it seem like it's the reason.
@Lizb7Rawlins I feel like after so many days of having to check ASD should break protocol and post saying it's on. Though I guess there's the possibility that tomorrow could be a slick show & they'd have to cancel, so I guess they could only post "As of now it's on. Check @ 5:30 per usual."
@citehchris Find the person who recognizes they have to work to get you to open up/speak and are willing to do it. That's how my husband claims he got me. Though 20+ years later he may wish he hadn't, since he's one of the few people I talk to. ๐
@cphelpsak@AK_El_Jefe My kids attended a charter school for elementary. I would not have been able to get them there this week because my street hadn't been plowed and cars with a higher clearance and 4WD were getting stuck. So it's about the busses but not just about the busses.
@AK_El_Jefe I'm sector 48 (South Anchorage near Dimond Freddies) and my street finally was at 2:30, because a bunch of us called to say we were trapped.
@ozymomdias My hubs has always hated bedtime. When they were little it was too long & drawn out. Now that they're teens it's when they usually lose their sh*t b/c phone privileges end & apparently "I'd like to know just 1x what it's like to have my phone in my room at nite like my friends!"
