It was fun chatting with the wonderful crew at @ZuckermanBrain about the mentors that changed my science trajectory. Thank you @IshmailSaboor for taking me under your wings and teaching me everything neuroscience. Illustrations by the very talented @matteofarinella
Pivoting your scientific career can be risky. But in our latest #scilife postdoc Anastasia Zavitsanou reminds us that good researchers follow their science where it leads. And that mentorship is crucial.

Excited to share that Iโve recently been named a Kavli-Grossman Scholar at Columbia University. This funding will support our efforts to combine peripheral somatosensory manipulations with large scale brain recordings using Neuropixels.
Thrilled to be joining the @SimonsFdn as a junior fellow. Huge thanks to my mentors and colleagues, especially my postdoc mentor @IshmailSaboor, for their guidance and support. Grateful for this amazing opportunity and excited for the journey ahead!
