The movement to recognize genders beyond female and male is changing languages around the world. @MinamiFunakoshi and Samuel Granados show how https://t.co/bXLeGTOn5C
@daysforgirlsca1@gabbyn2219 Such an important topic! It's unfortunate that menstrual hygiene tools/sanitary products are still not seen as a basic necessity to health. #wgst106
@BaltimoreFund @sem_camille People shouldn't be excluded from receiving the services that they need because of their financial circumstances, and people shouldn't need to drive long distances to have access to safe abortion procedures. #wgst106
@Daman51ngh Yes! I think that there should be diaper-changing stations in men's bathrooms. I think that this would help eliminate gender norms and barriers for both men and women. It shouldn't just be the women's responsibility to spend time with the child. #wgst106
Seeing how climate change is worsening and has become another form of gender-based violence, what steps should take to include these issues in our education? #wgst106#ClimateChangeNow
@danja_stafford @GrantWahl While I also find that this is glaringly unequal in terms of pay, I think that this also says a lot about public opinion, popularity/viewership, and our public biases between men and women's sports. #wgst106
@GabyGut44@SenClayDavisx4 I agree that this does seem to be a contradictory statement. I think that there are different standards to vaccinations and legalizing abortions, as long as we can do what's best to protect the public health and reproductive health of others. #wgst106
I think it's so important to recognize the issues surrounding sexual violence and how it disproportionately impacts women. Our justice system discourages survivors from being heard and finding justice, which consequently normalizes violence against girls and women. #wgst106
