The more I look into Bittensor $TAO , the more I realize that its long-term success won't be determined by how fascinating the technology is, but by whether it can build a sustainable business beyond token incentives. And that brings me to a much more practical question: who would actually pay for its services?
I don't think ordinary consumers will be the primary direct customers. Why would someone bother looking for decentralized AI compute when they can simply subscribe to ChatGPT or Claude?
I see a much bigger opportunity in B2B. Startups looking for cheaper inference, companies needing large-scale computation, AI developers looking for specialized services, and potentially even major AI companies outsourcing certain workloads.
These customers don't really care whether the infrastructure is centralized or decentralized. They care about cost, performance, reliability and security.
And here's the interesting part: millions of consumers could eventually use AI services powered partly by decentralized infrastructure without even knowing it.
That's the future I can imagine for Bittensor. Not replacing OpenAI or Google, but becoming part of the infrastructure supporting the broader AI economy.
Of course, there's one big question left: can Bittensor deliver these services competitively without depending indefinitely on token subsidies?
That's what I believe will ultimately determine whether $TAO becomes something truly significant.
SN116 Carbon Physics AI is one of the more interesting projects building on Bittensor right now.
Using decentralized intelligence to simulate real world physics could open up a massive market if they execute.

Sure Bittensor $TAO is complicated when you look under the hood, but all you need to know is that when crypto gets hot again and I mean HOT…
It’s the Bitcoin of AI
Easy pitch for new retail
No one really cares about how things work
Everyone is watching TAO as another crypto.
What if that’s the wrong way to look at it?

$TAO to trillions?
$TAO is back on the 4h demand zone at $270–$280.
That level has bounced before. Long only while it holds and BTC stays stable. First target is the descending trendline. A clean break and flip opens $340+.
A 4h close under $270 kills it.
WAS ICH JETZT MACHE
I said that if bitcoin:native reached $82,000, I’d give away $20,000 in Bitcoin to 15 people.
Well, we made it.
As promised, I’m giving away $20,000 in bitcoin:native
to 15 lucky winners today.

@Pritensor@sneworoverteel What do you actually expect? Ethereum took around 5–6 years to become widely decentralized, and Solana still isn’t fully decentralized after all this time. Give Bittensor the time to do it properly and securely instead of rushing it.
