I need a real escalation, the EPP logs, and the exact reason for the rejection.

Hi @bcherny, why is my Claude Max 5x usage dropping even with no activity? It started at 100% for the 5h window, then fell to ~70% near the end, without using Claude Code, the app, terminal, or https://t.co/NJ0U3XukFF. Is there background usage I’m missing?

@antirez Totally agree on the backend and complex logic side, GPT-5.x has been killing it lately and the gap is real.
But man, for frontend and design work it still feels pretty weak. The code works but it’s often generic, with mediocre spacing, hierarchy and overall taste.

@bcherny @teja2495 Confirmo, I stopped using the desktop app for Claude Code because it kept freezing, was very slow, etc. Now I only use it from the terminal and it’s perfect.
