At this point, more than 10 years into the agonizingly slow development of SEPTAKey, I wish we’d just stolen the existing proven NYC Metrocard or DC Smartrip systems rather than trying to innovate. They still work better today. MBTA & NJ Transit have in-app tickets already too.
