@samongaro_ An agent is an LLM with memory and tools basically. Usually a loop thrown in there. Ability to plan and execute multi step tasks as well. Codex and Claude Code have built in agents to the harness

@samongaro_ You can self host N8N with docker that’s pretty easy to set up. Look up OpenRouter for cheaper LLMs. I like GLM 5.3 Flash. If data hosting or model training is important to you though, might need to do a compliance check.

@samongaro_ Agent is such a loose term. I use Codex and Claude Code daily, so yeah I consider those agents. Subagents very rarely as it’s just so expensive. Real automation with N8N or https://t.co/SBtDZFHSuv just basic tests so far

@samongaro_ I do like Luna a lot. It’s my daily driver. It’s fairly slow but so cheap. I can get 1-1.5B tokens a week out of my $20 OpenAI sub with mainly Luna Max, normal speed
