Australian citizen stranded in India trying to return to my Sydney, Australia home. Any help appreciated.

Dual citizens contribute taxes as well, they're Australian just like us. No one's taking advantage of any system, it's rightfully all of ours to use if required

@SenatorWong Thanks for raising voice @SenatorWong but unless the 30/50 pax flight caps are lifted there's no point asking for even 10000/wk. That's the main reason people are getting bumped off and airlines are cancelling flights @KKeneally @AlboMP @abcnews @9NewsSyd @smh @7NewsAustralia

If the hotel quarantine system is adequate and competently run, returning citizens do not pose a threat. Focus should be on the quarantine system, not the caps! We are stranded overseas but we are Australians like yourself @MarisePayne @ScottMorrisonMP

Thanks @ScottMorrisonMP Hotel quarantine with competent officials will help Australian citizens return and help hotel occupancy. This will contain any cases, which are very low anyway and not add to spread @SenatorWong @MarisePayne @GladysB pls revise caps

India had domestic lockdown in March, we had tickets booked in early April as we thought that was soon enough. Now the caps limit us even though we can quarantine safely. This generic response and lack of support for YOUR citizens is disheartening
