#WATCH | Delhi: Visuals around the Punjabi Bagh area this morning as a layer of toxic smog blankets the city. The AQI in the area is 369 in the 'Very Poor' category, as claimed by the CPCB.

The mass slow poisoning in Delhi continues as AQI remains in the HAZARDOUS category, with PM2.5 levels 21 TIMES more than standard!

The government apathy to the situation is baffling. While the Delhi govt continues to take band-aid measures like distributing bio-gas heaters to watchmen and sprinkling (instead of misting) water on the roads, the union environment ministry continues its exemption given to certain power units of thermal power plants that release untreated sulphur dioxide (PM2.5 contributor) in the air!

Today’s @IndianExpress report says, 15 of 35 such power units in Delhi’s 300km radius don’t treat this toxic emission—AND CONTINUE TO RUN! @byadavbjp any thoughts why? And why can’t the Delhi govt say anything against this? @mssirsa @gupta_rekha? Your inaction is making Hitler prouder by the day!
