@FunkyPedagogy Use old yoghurt pots, takeaway tubs and other containers from your recycling bin to create an ice city of skyscrapers. Use pipettes (if you have them) or syringes from calpol packs to make it ‘rain’ and melt your city.
@FunkyPedagogy Freezing Tiny dinosaurs in balloons with water creates dinosaurs in egg-shaped ice. You can add a few drops of food colour to the water too. 🦕 🥚
@KKNTeachLearn It’s crippling. Data says lowest point of mental health in young people iccurs aged 15. And we wonder why? My Year 11 daughter has 25 exams spread over 40 days. It’s horrendous for them all, and it needs to change.
@hedgehoghugh@cameraZoe I’ll second that. I was once behind him in a queue for a public phone box at Chesterfield station. On completion of his call, instead of hanging up the ☎️ , he gave me his remaining credit. As a student, I very much appreciated that gesture!
@alidwr We were sharing stories at lunch time and one teacher’s own child was taken from his Nursery to hospital on WBD. Teacher hurried to join him, as you would, so arrived at A&E dressed as a crocodile 🐊
@FossardMr Also neighbourhood cats on the playground and squirrels going through playground bins in an entertaining manner that no educator can compete with and WASPS!
@essexlarder It was well garlicky 😋 and I added some while cloves to roast with the potatoes too. Thanks for the recommendation and Happy Easter m’dear!
