@NeoliCryptoFasc @davidrkadler For the record: I’m not suggesting it’s culture. I just saying it’s not an economic puzzle as basic arithmetics shows. It’s a sociopolitical decision. Whether the root of that decision is culture, power balances, institutions, etc. i personally don’t know.

@davidrkadler I think it’s really just a life expectancy puzzle. If you look at hours worked France and the US are fairly similar in GDP. It’s just a social decision for a different balance btw income and leisure.
